Dear Tigger & Tiny fans,
We hope all of you had a great New Year's eve. We also hope the new year will hold nothing but great success and happiness for each and every one of you!
They both had a great Christmas, especially Tiny who loves toys. As you can see in the picture below, Tigger is now a full fledged Tiny fan.
They are getting along just fine now. It is such a pleasure to have them around. Both come up while I am working on projects on the computer just to have a little one on one' time with me. Tigger wants me to put my feet up (so my lap will hold him) and he gets on my chest and just soaks up all the loving I can give him. He returns it with a very satisfying purr. His purr is much quieter than Tiny's whose purr can be heard at a great distance.
Tiny expresses herself in a very different way. She doesn't want me to lean back so she can get on me. She just has to be very close to me which usually means on the stack of storage boxes of project material, on the keyboard shelf, on the desk above the keyboard... anywhere near. She gets on my lap when I am reading in the recliner and of course on me when I am in bed.
This was the first Christmas in years that I did not spend with Grandchildren (and their parents). With the quick trip I made to Tallahassee, Port St. Joe and Columbus, GA. I had my Christmas early in the visits with family. No snow here... yet. I am anxious to have snow and see Tiny's reaction. It is old hat for Tigger.
Just wanted to let everyone know that we are still here. I am working on many projects and intend to get back to Tigger (& Tiny) Tails as soon as possible. It may be awhile yet though. I got a wonderful "Letter" from Tigger to Daniel Green ( my Grandson in Tucson) which Daniel wrote for me as a Christmas present. I will issue it as part of the Tigger Tails for all to enjoy. He can write in my place when I go on vacation (if it actually legal to go on vacation when one is retired).
Again, have a very Happy and prosperous New Year!
Take care and love to all,
